Construction noise at Soi 15 & Buckhao

There are many constriuction sites in Second Road Soi 15 and its junction near Soi Buakhao. I was in Katesiree House (the new one opposite to Pattaya City Hall, not the old one north of Soi LK) last month. It was a bit noise in the morning.

 

There are at least 3 very large construction sites along Soi 15, around Pattaya Bay resort and Areca Lodge (the wing in soi 15) and some other smallers sites. 

 

The works are still in land formation stage. So it takes 2-3 years to complete. It should be avoid to stay in hotels near this area if you wake up late during holiday.

 

Most other parts of Soi Diana and Soi Buakhao are affects. But witht the new bars opened in Soi LK and new buildings erected, the Buakhao area will gradually lose its quite and layback feeling.

i was thinking of staying at Areca Lodge and i see they just put there room prices up.

I stayed @ Avenue Residence when they were working and i couldn't hear any noise from the building site.....
