Still trying to sort out where we're staying and am looking at maybe staying around the LK Metro area

have seen Baht bus route mentioned and was just wondering the best way to get from there to soi 6 and WS

best i can see ATM is to walk down to 2sd street and jump on the baht bus

is it better just to jump a taxi when up that way?

You catch one going towards pattaya klaang from soi Baukhaow, you get off of it when it crosses second road. Then cross over and walk a little up second road and flag another down and it will take you right past the end of soi 6.

I hate motor taxi and girls dont like walking, so we always walked to nearest place where we could get baht bus.

From LK Metro walk to Soi Buakhao, its not even one minute and get a baht bus from there. Now the bus will probably take 5-7mins depending on traffic and come to a point where a road will go on left and straight. I used this route three times and always the driver stopped and said last point. Get off there and walk on the left road. In 30secs you will see 2 shoe repairing shop on right. Walk there straight and you will come near Whats up gogo and Private dancer. Just keep walking and you are there on walking street.

IMHO I think you have nailed it with your own answer, I have done this myself hundreds of times.

If I want to go to WS from LK a get a M/C taxi though as it is quicker and a lot less hassle.
