When I come to LOS in September I'm quite interested in seeing a Thai Premier League match as I love watching football in different countries. Has anyone been? Are the crowds friendly to farangs and is there ever any trouble?

I hear it supposed to be cheap but I cant check any prices or how to book tickets as all the teams sites seem to be in Thai only.

Thanks

I went to watch pattaya utd v chang rai,Just turn up and pay the 100 baht admission fee(that was what it cost me back in july).I went and really enjoyed it,i was lucky enough to see a good game though.Obviously the majority of the crowd was thai but there were quite a few farangs there. A good friendly atmosphere too.

I've been to a few games in Bangkok and it's a good time. There was some violence going on between rival fans towards the end of one game I went to, Muang Thong - Thai Port. That was the only time I saw any trouble. It was close to the end of the game, so we just left.

Thai Port (now called SInghtarau in Thai) represents the KlongToei area of BKK, so its fans comprise both local Thais and the expats living around Sukhumvit and they all get along just great.

I wouldn't mind watching a game myself sometime when I am out there.

I hope I am wrong but Pattaya United look to be facing relegation this year at present. Hope they can pick it up.

I have seen a few videos of the league and it's a good standard and some lovely attacking football together with Keystone cops defending at times. You will be entertained. I just love the way the Thais play the game.

IF ALL MEN ARE CREATED EQUAL WHERE IS THE REST OF MY PENIS?

The football quality is really poor, but it makes the games fun. The tickets at Nongprue Stadium have prices between 100 and 150 baht.

Also, it's a good excuse to make a stop at some of the bars from the Darkside, before and after the match.
