Laemchabang to Pattaya

I'll be visiting a school-teacher in August.

 

I understand, from e-mail between her and me, that she will be working during the day, so I expect to be at a loose end from about 9AM through to maybe 4PM.

 

My hotel is in Laemchabang, close to Sukhumvit road, and Google maps tells me that Pattaya is just down the road.  This has started me wondering about the possibility of finding suitable public transport to Pattaya for a bit of daytime socialising, and of course, transport out at an appropriate hour.

 

I don't smoke or drink alcohol, so I'm kinda boring.  However, If my school-marm friend doesn't keep me happy, I'll be looking for BJ action in soi 6 [or something along those lines]

 

So the question is: can anybody help me to learn the secrets of public transport between Laemchabang and Pattaya?

Ble & White buses or baht buses opearte up and down Sukhumvit.

If it were me I'd to rent a scooter. It's only about a 30 minute ride away and will save you a lot of time once you know you way around.
