Bad Tempered Man Stabs Rescue Officer After Trying To Calm Him Down

A bad-tempered man argued with his girlfriend, as they were arguing, he grabbed a glass bottle and threw it out of his condo’s window. A man tried to calm him down, but he was stabbed by the bad-tempered man as he doesn’t want anyone to tell him what to do.

PATTAYA – June 3, 2013 [PDN]; At around 03.20 PM, Police officers of Pattaya City police station were informed that a man was stabbed a condominium in South Pattaya. Police and a voluntary rescue team were sent out to investigate and help the severely injured man.


The incident happened at building “D” at a condominium South Pattaya. Police found 47 year-old Nitikhom Saenun lying injured on the ground, he was identified as a voluntary rescuer. He stabbed on his neck and belly, making him bleed heavily. Residents of the condo came down to see what happened, the rescue team swiftly treated Mr. Nitikhom and later sent him to the nearest hospital. It was reported that he still is in an unsafe or unstable state.


Police found a knife that was smudged in blood, it was reported to be about 20 cm. long. The man who stabbed Mr. Nitikhom was identified as Prapai Kaewla, age 30, a motorbike taxi driver. After he committed the crime, he ran into building D to hide. Police weren’t able to find him at that time.

Police then questioned Ms. Waraporn Saenpayao, age 24, Mr. Nitikhom’s friend, said that Mr. Nitikhom and two other friends were eating at a little restaurant at building D. But Mr. Nitikhom saw a couple arguing loudly and violently, after they finished arguing, they went up and continued to argue. Mr. Prapai then threw a glass bottle down his window, making Mr. Nitikhom say “If you’re going argue, go argue somewhere else!”. As soon as he said that, Mr. Prapai was extremely angry and grabbed knife to stab Mr. Nitikhom. He then had a fight with Mr. Nitikhom, but when he saw a knife at a laundry shop, he took the knife and ultimately stabbed Mr. Nitikhom. As soon as he stabbed him, Mr. Prapai ran into building D to hide.


At around 07.00 PM, the police officers were informed that suspect or Mr. Prapai was hiding on floor 3 of building D, which made the police able to arrest him. He was shocked and surprised when he saw police, making him jump out of his balcony, which injured him on his right arm. He is now at a hospital to receive further treatment.
