One month stay how many nights?

The last 5 or 6 years i always book a room for one month. I found out 1 month isn't the same at every place.
For me its 30 nights cause you pay a room per night and not per day, right ?. Some of the place say 30 days/29 nights.
Anyone got the same experience. ?

First time I read this. Everywhere I was in Pattaya, the monthly rate was for 30 nights and in one place it was for 31 nights because of the month had 31 days...and nights of course! :D

It's just another way to make your money is deposited into the pockets of someone from the front desk. :GoldenSmile1: In my opinion, month 30 nights. My assumption is based on the bit length of visa and waiver 30 days, although it is not conclusive.

What About February? :Think1:

5555. For February its just not possible to book for one month. You have to pay the single night rate x 28 or 29

Just checked a booking from a few years ago and this one said 30 nights indeed. So its true not every hotel/ apartment uses the same policy about one month stay.

Anyway it can save you a night just by doing some research about the definition " one month

  • 2 months later...

We go from whatever date to the same date so 31st to 31st, 6th to 6th etc and of course Feb is 29 days but I could be persuaded to offer 30 nights, not the end of the world is it.  :hello09:

I have the same policy and it has worked well so far.
