which LK hotel is the best?

Hi guys,

 

I will go this summer for my second trip in pattaya, on my first trip I stayed in "page 10" hotel, it was great except for wifi (always cutting..)

And now I wanted to try the LK group, but I was wondering which is the best, there is so many of it in pattaya.

 

I'm looking for the best place, the most confurtable, with good wifi, and good room service.

 

I'm a pedestrian (I'm afraid of the road in this country!) So I want to be near hot spot, like WS (I love insomnia for exemple), or near lk metro, and near central festival can be great too. (for that page 10 was not bad.)

 

I just saw that lk empress got the best notation on booking.com and a not bad in agoda, but it is the best hotel there?

All good but best for me is LK Renaissance Soi Diana.

The best bet is LK The Empress. " best for pedestrian" excellent location right on BR soi12.

I would go for LK Empress - ask for a beach front facing room.

Easy for walking street, as it is on the sea front and has many baht buses going by.

Usually I book my hotel online, do you think I can book LK empress online, and after ask for a sea front room by mail? Or just when I check in?

Last time i emailed them direct so your name is registered and either book then or tell them you will go ahead with Agoda etc

Best LK place has to be Empress. Never lived there but from buddy's that lived there I only got positive feed back.

I would look up the best price online, then phone them direct and ask them for a room facing the sea.

 

If they give you a price better than online, all good, if they give you a price more than online, tell them what you can get it for online and ask them to match it.

 

Confirm again it is sea facing, and what room number it is.

I'm afraid about call them, because, my english is not so strong... And I remember when I was calling them for room service, it was a nightmare... so hard to be understand, and understand them. One time I ask for rice they send me 2 mushroom soup....

I just got back from Patts, stayed at the LK Empress for a week.  My Favorite hotel.  If you book online form Agoda, you pick the room when you book.  You need to get a sea view or beach front room

there is only two choice of view in agoda, city view or pool view... but seems that there is 2 views of the city one sea front and the other nop:

My fav - Renaissance.

 

But if your standards are lower and you don't mind noisey rude Russians, careless staff, decaying unmaintained rooms and so-so breakfasts then Metropole maye be the best value.

I stayed at the LK Metro on my previous trip and it was not as bad as described above. Yes, the rooms need some refreshing but the staff was all ok when I was there. In fact, I enjoyed the "could'nt care less" attitude from the staff when taking home 2 to 3 birds at a time.

 

I am considering the Empress for my next trip... but for some reason, I find the furniture a little cheesy in the rooms.... anyone feel the same way about how the rooms are decorated?

Apparently city view from studio king, is a wall of brick...

The sea front view are really expensive room, and I dont want to spend more than 2500baht by night... I guess, I have to look something else than the lk empress... :(

For my next trip I've already booked Diana Oasis but I have some friends living at LK metropole,  do u think is possible visit them for spend some hours at the pool as their guest?

I reckon you will be fine mate as you don't even have to enter the hotel to get to the pool,as it is out the front,and the pool area was never busy when i stayed there

I have stayed at Ren and Empress....rate them both highly - if I had to pick one it would be Ren. Both top hotels.

Lk Empress has the perfect location and LK Mantra Pura if you want to get away from everything with the right girl.

I also stayed at page10 for my first trip last year, and also thinking about empress. What is tge food there like? Ren seems to have better style but empress is closer to ws but further from big c than page10. Torn.
