WINRAR progra to unzip,Split,& re-attatch programs

Here is a program that will unzip files that are either .RAR or .ZIP.

Some of these .RAR files are hosted by pattaya addicts.

 

For those of you who don't understand, .RAR can split files into small segments, so when you download

them all, it will put it back into the original file at full size.

Splitting it is good because if you download a large file, chances are that sometimes your download can

be disturbed half way through, then you have to re-download.

The best program I have found is called 7-zip (PC-only) - one of my personal favorites. It's open source, totally free for personal and commercial use, and you can download it from sourceforge.net or get it at the homepage: http://www.7-zip.org/

There is only one problem with that program. If you want to split the file in to many segments, it won't allow you to make it

self extracting. (self extraction is good for those who don't know how to use these types of programs.)

 

It will segment it in .TAR .7Z and .ZIP but won't allow it to be self extracting.

If it does give you the option to self extract, it won't segment them.

 

otherwise it's probably the best freeware version.
