Great new service from Kent (UK) to BKK and promo fares

Featured Replies

For anyone who lives in Kent or south east London KLM have just started a feeder flight to their Amsterdam base from Manston.

Manston is a great airport to fly from, easy to drive to (no m25), easy parking, and VERY small so very quick transit.

I come from Sandwich so this new service will mean no more heathrow and just 15 mins from my home.

they are offering a promo fare, for lots of dates departing may & june for £460, a great price, Book on KLM.com

Well spotted... If I didn't get good fares on Emirates I'd be using this for sure as I live not too far away.

Great plus for the south east, I am from Canterbury but means I will have to visit UK, No thanks. :SoWhat1:

B34,530 for BKK-AMS-MSE-AMS-BKK, ie going the other way, not too bad compared to many other indirect airlines, when I'm heading back to Broadstairs.

They are flying twice-daily with a Fokker-70 into Manston, so you have a choice of flights each way, although the 1-hour connection is much more expensive than the 4-5 hour connection in Amsterdam.

Pity about the high airport-departure-tax in the UK, perhaps a 24-hour stopover in AMS might be fun and save money too ?
