Hi does anyone recommend a car service which will take me from Bangkok to Pattaya and back in a luxury car i.e bmw, mercedez. I've msg Mr T but have not heard a response.

German cars are significantly more expensive than Japanese cars manufactured within Thailand due to the customs tax.

Bangkok to Pattaya is approximately 90 minutes without traffic.  You can, however, pay more for a nice, or nicer, comfortable car which might be a nice SUV with leather seats or a nice Honda Accord.

I'm sure you can probably find luxury company that caters to the wealthy Russians or elite businessmen, but this is probably going overboard for BKK to Pattaya.

Mr. T is pretty much an aggregator for all intent and purpose.  He networks with cab companies, independent vehicle owners, etc. who agree to his fixed-pricing mechanism to be in the referral network.  I highly doubt Mr. T branches out to this.  Mr. T's base is for people that want a no-hassle 1000-baht fixed rate between BKK and Pattaya or to/from the airport(s).

I would check with the five-star hotels on this though if you're in BKK.  The Intercontinental, Erawin, etc.  They might be able to help you.

Yeah staying at the Grand Millennium Suk and was quoted 2500 from airport to hotel so cant imagine what they will charge to take me to pattaya. Prob take your suggestion and get a nice comfortable car.

a toyota camry qualifies as a luxury car to me.

available at your local dealer at about 1.4 million.

the pretty much the same merc is the E class available at about 4 million

therefore a price difference of about 5x makes sense.

possibly a bentley/rolls?

remember this when you get cut up and want to bang on the windows, just who do you think is inside- he is not your neighbourhood doctor.

thanks but 6600 is quite expensive

You didnt mention price was a issue.

6.600 is nothing compare to the real longtail limo that cost 50.000.

A new Camry will cost you 2.200 - 2.500.
