4 year old boy dies after fishing trip with his father goes tragically wrong.

 

Just after 7pm on Sunday Night, Police Major Khunawoot from Banglamung Police Station made his way to Banglamung Hospital after medical staff reported a 4 year old boy who had died after a suspected drowning incident at a lake behind the Potato Flower Company near the Maprachan Reservoir. The 4 year old boy died as he was being transported to Hospital. The boy’s father, Khun Gorn aged 33 was interviewed by Police and explained that his Son would often play at the lake unsupervised. On Sunday Evening the boy was at the lake with his father who was catching shrimp for their evening meal. The Boy apparently fell into the lake and was rescued by his Father. At this point the Boy was breathing but was unconscious. He died in the ambulance on the way to the Hospital. Police have recorded the case as an accident.
