La Cuisine Au Beurre

Featured Replies

I have been having breakfast and dinner a few times at the restaurant La Cuisine Au Beurre which is located across from the south ? entrance of TukCom.  I have got to say that this place has the best coffee I have had in Pattaya.  The American or European breakfast is reasonably priced and the bread they serve is great.  I could get addicted to the coffee and bread at this place.    I had chicken cordon bleu for dinner once  which as OK and the house wine was fine.  Overall, a nice place for breakfast and for dinner.

I usually have lunch there whenever I visit Tukcom. They advertise their daily specials on a blackboard. Haven't tried the coffee though, usually go with the wine. Didn't realize they were open for breakfast.

Retired

The owner (Swiss or French) is in Pattaya since many years and knows his stuff.

I had some nice meals in this restaurant, many French expats eating there. (sign of quality).

Been going there for many years. It's my second favorite restaurant in town.

And considering the quality of the food they serve, it's also very cheap. This restaurant has a concept that they actually execute successfully because of a well trained kitchen staff. Very rare for Pattaya restaurants.

If it weren't for a terrible choice of names, it would probably be hard to get a table. When recommending it, the best I can do is describe where it can be found.

The breakfast is a "relatively new thing" because there was a time when they didn't serve before 6pm.

The wait staff is also a huge plus for this place.

....So where do you personally rate as No.1??  Interested as I'm just starting to eat again after almost a year....Radiation killed my Saliva glands and eating anything was almost impossible...been living on smoothies & nutritional supplements...

Only just starting to be able to eat....and enjoy my food again....have a year to catch up on....and if I can gain back 10 of the 30 kgs I've lost....I'll be a happy man

Gotta build up a list of good eateries...

Cheers  DS

For me it's currently Lonestar Texas Grill because I like barbecue and Tex-Mex and they do it very well. That's the reason it's currently my No. 1.

Thanks for that

Not a huge fan of Ribs or Tex Mex, personally....although I had many a Monday night Rib Dinners at Silver Dollar in Washington Sq.....and an American friend of mine makes the best Chilli con carne I've ever tried...(not that I've tried a lot....but his rocks...IMHO).....he calls himself a Cowboy Cook....but it was bloody delicious to me

Will give the CAM a shot soon....I've walked past it and it had appeal.....From memory it was near the...."something"...(can't remember)   Planette....which also got very good wraps from Evil P

Both of these are on my  To Do list

Would love to hear more recommendations....man there are a million places to eat in this City....

It's exciting to have an appetite back.... impossible to explain the past year or so....

Had lunch yesterday, with a friend at the new Shanghai Noodle place ...on Third Road....on the left just before Pattaya Nua....well worth a visit...

Thanks again
