Definitely not a time to be driving if you can avoid it.  I think the road toll in Thailand is phenomenal, no wonder.

Think it has a lot to do with water being thrown at motor bike riders and passengers.

 

Saw several bad incidents on Soi Lengkee today, lucky someone wasn't killed.

 

Eventually there will have to be a ban on throwing water at moving vehicles.

I just heard it's 101 dead so far around the nation.

That and them being drunk all adds to the numbers which will rise and rise this week.

These sad statistics each year. It's no surprise, given the situation that is happening during Songkran. Given as Thailand size, not the number of dead as high. In any case, it's a shame thwarted every human life, but it is a tax for madness and weekly party with alcohol and effort movements on the bike and visiting relatives during Songkran.

Most of the accidents during Songkran happen with motorcycles so not shore that's a good idea .

So? Maybe the Songkran death toll is due to farang who won't stop when the Thais say NO. Damn those farang, no respect for anything...
