Hotel Security Guard Caught Dealing Drugs

Pattaya police arrested several drug users and their dealer, a 45-year-old security guard . He told police his salary is so low, he sold amphetamines and ya-ice to supplement his income.

PATTAYA – April 11, 2013 [PDN]; at 5:30 a.m., the arrests of three drug users and their drug dealer was announced by Pol. Capt. Netithorn Rattanasuchanan, Deputy Inspector, Pattaya police station, Chonburi province, along with the police team and volunteer police.

The 4 defendants, along with their seized drugs, were identified as:
Mr. Krissada Modthes, age 45, from Bangkok, caught with 251 pills of amphetamine and ya-ice 6.38 g;
Mr. Wathin Meekul, age 32, address 5 Soi Sawang, Sawangnakhorn road, Tambon Nai Meuang, Amphur Meuang Nakhornphanom, Nakhornphanom province, with ya-ice 0.40 g;
Mr. Supphakij Nilmuang, age 27, address 365 Moo 5 Tambon Na Kleua, Amphur Banglamung, Chonburi province, with 23 pills of amphetamine and equipment to consume ganja;
and Ms. Sangwan Saengkla, age 23, address 99 Moo 1 Tambon Srisamran, Amphur Phornjarern, Beungkarn province, with 2 pills of amphetamine.

Pol. Capt. Netithorn Rattanasuchanan, Deputy Inspector, revealed that he had brought forces of the police team and volunteer police to randomly inspect the area. Officers then inspected a group of suspicious people, who tested positive for drug substances in their bodies.

Police arrested the drug addicts, and during their investigation, discovered that their dealer was Mr. Krissada Modthes, age 45, a security guard.

So the officers made the lure purchase of some amphetamines from Mr. Krissada, then arrested him. Police searched his room in Na Kleua and found amphetamines and ya-ice hidden under the water jar, which the police kept for evidence.

During questioning, Mr. Krissada confessed that his salary as a security guard is not enough to live on, so he smuggled to sell amphetamines and ya-ice, which he had done for a long time until he was arrested by the police.

After their initial investigation, the police made notes for evidence and sent him to the investigation officer, and will investigate further to arrest the rest of the network of drug dealers and users to prosecute according to the law.
