dee jai vs. cheuun jai

What's the difference between dee jai vs. cheuun jai?

Often there are subtle differences between phrases that a non-native speaker, or a beginning speaker won't pick up.

 

My TG said cheuun jai (or choon jai?) a lot when I was in LOS. She speaks very little English. I asked her friend what it meant and she said "I'm happy" but when I look it up it seems that that it might have a slightly different meaning. I also see "I'm happy" attributed more to "dee jai".

 

I'm just curious mostly......
