And the price depends on what floor they put you on, different floors are different prices. At least that is what they told me when I went over there to look at the rooms.

OK, different views maybe, but it's not like they would have a sea view or anything from any room. They only show one size listed for the 1BR Deluxe. I'd think the floor is irrelevant, there is an elevator for all the Deluxe rooms. I'm not doubting you, it just sounds funny.

I think the reply recieved depends on a few different factors.................like who you spoke to/replied to your email. What mood they were in, whether they think they are dealing with a newbie or not...........etc, etc

I asked for a quote off them by filling in the request form on website and was given a figure PLUS a 10000TBH figure that its reason for wasnt stated, and i am awaiting the clarification from them as to whether its added to the figure, or is some sort of security deposit.

I could also " pay the day of your arrival in Mosaik"

So its bit of a lottery (just like visa extensions at Immigration lol !!!!)

Mailed them an enquiry for a fixed weekly price on housekeeping, towels, sheets etc. The reply isn't that specific, but I'll assume is just go ahead and multiply with whatever number you are using.

 

Daily prices include utilities and housekeeping service.

Weekly and monthly prices charge as following:

4. Set Bed sheets 55 "

Got an answer in under 24 hours to the emails I sent.

This is confirmation of me booking, I just asked for a 1 bed room deluxe so of cause I got the most expensive one

After seeing the review and location, I booked at the Mosaik Apts for 1 week and was quoted 4860Bht for a Std Deluxe. 24hrs later they emailed confirming my reservation, but said the price is now 5,800Bht. And "is that okay?" What the fuck???? Has this happened to anyone? Why did the price suddenly go up after 1 day? I am getting emails from the same lady. Is she just trying to pad her own pocket? I thought the high season was exceptionally quiet? I can easily get accommodations elsewhere? GRRRRRRR...

My initial thoughts were the same as yours regarding the pocket lining, so i am going to just print out the email she sent me quoting the price she quoted and see what happens on the day.

I (we) will be staying for a few days prior to the dates stated on the 1st contact i had, so will have time to look around as well

But, why dont you email her back saying "no its NOT OK" and see what happens

I honestly believe the "fault" lies here with all the requests going there. Seems they think they can ask what they ask and get away with it more, the more people "book"

Yeah - I am going to simply say I prefer the original rate and ask her to confirm it. Worse case scenario is I get stuck with the second quote. Not a large dollar amount but still annoying. How come it is never a cheaper rate?!!

They are now telling me that cost of Deluxe Studio in April/May/June is Bt 15,000 pm. Website quotes Bt 12,000. WTF?

This place does look really good. Sorry to be a torture but...

 

What's it like re noise within the building i.e. are the rooms sound proofed or can you hear the person next door blowing their nose.

 

Did you feel that it was secure enough. Apparently crime is on the increase in Pattaya. Can you remember were the safes bolted down and are the security guards ok or like chocolate fireguards?

 

I have been doing a lot of browsing on the www for ages and can't find anywhere which appeals as much as this place. Good enough location and reasonable prices.

All the luxury apartment are located on the same area, just next to each other. And they are close to the night life.

Tony while you're in Patts on your next trip pop down there and have a look at the apartments they are very welcoming.

 

hey gil, last time i stayed there for a month and i have my room clean every day, and they charge me 250bht/day.

it's cheaper this way if you like the clean to be cleaned everyday.

i don't think they lie to you about the price, because when i book, i got the expensive one but when i got there, i asked the lady in the office for a cheaper room and she gave me a nice room with a better price. it could be that the room change, so the price change also.

 

if you go there, asked for a cheaper room, maybe there is some available.

i always ask for a cheap room also, so i think every body ask for the cheap one. i will try to get the best price and onfirm them quickly, so i get the room with the price i want. normally, there is only expensive room left....
