Indian Premier started Yesterday... Today Gayle like usual were brilliant today with 91 runs . I like the set up of this league with 20 overs, excitier , lovely ladies dancing too...

Not a fan of 20/20 stuff , but no doubting it's an exciting format .   It's here to stay as i think this is the 6 th year of it .

 

Todays match went down to the last ball and the crowd were thoroughly entertained , but i'll have forgotten the result of the match by this time tomorrow .

 

The dancing girls are great !

I enjoy the IPL as it gives me an opportunity to see the worlds best players and it fills a gap until the home tests start.

 

As more county players want to play IPL, I can see several going free-lance so they are not tied down to domestic contracts. This could damage the county game.

 

It would be great if we could have our own version of the IPL but I cant see the counties adopting any change.
