To be honest with you, you can get something very good for your money back in England for a lot less i reckon, i paid 21,000 baht for my lap top which is around 300 quid, but i have learned, here there is no such thing as a money back guarantee here in Thailand !!

I paid 24,000 for an Acer Aspire 4250 in Phuket, fucking great little machine for all the price of it. Wireless, bluetooth, 3d graphics card, 100+ gb internal memory, well worth more than the peanuts I paid for it. Can remember name of the shop but it was a proper electronic shop in the shopping center on Rat U Tit road, Patong.

have a look a dell.com . i know that they have great offers in the us. not sure if they have the same deals in europe.

 

however, you get a warranty and live online help. thus it depends if you can afford to buy a laptop everytime it breaks or if you want a warranty.

 

useful when traveling . things brake or falls.
