Soi 6/Soi 6/1 Hotel Construction?

Hello,

When I was on Soi 6 last January, they were building behind the Queen Vic on Soi 6/1...any update or status on the construction there?  Anyone know what exactly is being built?  Just curious, myself...wonder who the target market is being so close to Soi 6......

This has been going on for about 2years now when I spoke to Vic he thinks a Thai navy man and say it start stop when he gets more cash dident see them doing much over the last 2weeks who it for who knows but hope they are ok whith LB

It's the same guy that owns the buildings on both sides of the lane that runs from 2nd Road to it..including Tropical Bert's.

I was staying at the Queen Vic last week or so. It was OK at first but then they started cutting steel right by the wall. Had to move to a room at the front. It's a condo development apparently.

Drove by the site today. It is definitely a hotel, 4 - 5 stars judging by the quality of the workmanship and fixtures. 100's of workers there from all different trades. Still looks like a couple of months away from completion. Design and size look very similar to the Discovery Hotel adjacent to it.
