Sadly ,

my little bookshop in Soi Diana , next door to megabreak has to close its doors , as my Landlord has decided he needs to take the unit back .

 

the goodnews is , i have been lucky enough to find new premises in Tuk Com ( South Pattaya Road IT Centre )

 

its in the basement right next to the food court !!

 

very small unit but will be crammed full of books

 

got a new name too . simply Basement Books.

will move into new premises within a few days

see you there !!

Do you sell many crime thrillers etc from Thailand? I love books like "Bangkok Tattoo, Bangkok 8 etc" Now im reading "Sleepless in Bangkok". Good book.

I had a look at your new premises, actually not bad but way to expensive. I know that making a self-supporting turnover will be hard to achieve with the illiterate Pattaya clientele, but most of your titles I found in Soi Yensabai for 80 Bath a piece, about a thiird of your price tags. I wish you a successful business season.
