Police break up drugs Party at North Pattaya Resort.

Police Colonel Nopadon, the Superintendent of Pattaya Police Station led an operation at a Resort in North Pattaya in the early hours of Tuesday Morning following a tip-off that a drugs party inside one of the rooms was taking place. Police entered the room and found 4 men and 2 women in the process of ingesting Crystal Methamphetamine known in Thailand as “Ya Ice”. Police seized implements used to ingest the class 1 drug and 5 out of the group of 6 failed urine tests, confirming that they had recently ingested met-amphetamine. At the Police Station the affluent men appeared relaxed and confirmed that they had used the drugs for recreational purposes. The group were charged with class 1 drugs offences and will appear in court soon.
