From BKK To Ko Samui

Hi All

Can anybody tell me how I get to Ko Samui from Bangkok via Phuket?

i will be arriving in bkk on the 15th of Jan and was hoping to spend a few days in Phuket then on to Ko Samui for the full moon party on the 22nd then back to pattaya for the 25th. the only problem is i have no idea how to do this!!
