Older Sister attempts suicide after catching her younger sister with another woman.

 

Police and Sawang Boriboon Rescue Workers made their way to a room in Soi Sabai Jai in South Pattaya on Monday Afternoon after receiving word of a woman who was harming herself with knives. Khun Malai aged 30, who lives with her younger sister, was apparently angry that she was in a sexual relationship with another woman. Khun Malai caught the pair inside the room earlier in the day and began to drink heavily. She soon became drunk and decided to harm herself. She was eventually persuaded to stop cutting herself by Police and was attended to by rescue workers. She was rushed to Hospital suffering from severe lacerations to her left arm and will be assessed by doctors over the next few days relating to her mentally disturbed state.

Clearly, Khun Malai was upset to see her sister thus engaged.

 

What about families from the more rural (Isaan) to the more cosmopolitan (BKK)?

There is a very large number of gays and lesbians in Patts, I believe they view it as their own 'home town'.
