It happened in India to a Swiss national - Any particular reason this is considered to be of interest to Pattaya mongers?

I saw on Australia Network that the wrong ones had been taken in..maybe that's why there's the discrepancy of now having 3 arrested.  The Indians scream when something happens to an Indian tourist or student in another country..They all take to the streets and condemn the whole of that country as either being racist or violent perpetrators.
