Budget room rental near walking street

Looking for a room near the baht bus and close to walking street under 800 baht a night. Can anyone recommend anyplace? Guesthouse would be fine as well.

i stayed at secrets last time - was between 800 and 900 baht in high season and I thought a great value for a modern room that basically looks and feels brand new,

it's not 5 star hotel but friendly and no drama - check their website and it's run by a british guy  - was super nice to me even tho i was not a repeat customer

i was really impressed for that price range - no elevator tho if that matters. close to everything

They advertise standard room for 1200bht but you can barter down to 900bht. Also their deluxe room advertised for 2200bht I was there in February and I paid 1700bht.
