Fire on Ferry Boat at Bali Hai

 

Pattaya Police was notified on Friday, 30th November that a fire had broken out on a ferry boat at Bali Hai pier. Together with the Fire Brigade,

 

Officers went to the scene to find the Banzai ferry boat adrift alongside the pier, with the crew battling to put out blaze that had broken out in the engine room. After the fire was brought under control, an investigation began and police believe that it was started by someone being careless with a discarded cigarette butt which landed on a small pool of spilled flammable oil.
