Yeah, its pretty rich that our Red Shirt puppet PM manages to get a mandate to flog off ten year old rice at today's prices. No wonder the exchange rate has plummeted by 12% since Christmas. It seems that China is the main target with 6 million tonnes of rice expected this year. No doubt ASEAN countries will feature well in Yingluck (Takhsin's) plans. What chances are there that the local farming rice producers will not benefit from this exploitation ?? High I guess.

Obama's visit early in his second term aims to establish Utapao airport as an offshoot US airbase - for drones perhaps !!

 

Good to see that Abhisit's party retained the Bangkok mayoral appointment. All is not lost.

 

Pensioners and expat residents stay alert for further diminution of your funds. Thai baht exchange rate expected to fall to 40 and maybe lower. Tough times ahead.
