has anyone ever used "Best Travel Store" for tickets?

Hello Everyone,

I am planning a trip to Pattaya in Jan, (2 and third weeks) and I was looking at airfares. I checked the usual sites and the lowest fares were around 2000-2500 usd, from Pennsylvania to Bkk. Well I found the site for Best travel Store and their price were about 1000$ less. As the saying goes if it sounds too good to be true..... I was wondering if anyone here had used them before. BTW I have been reading these boards for a couple weeks now and have read some good advice, as this will be my first trip to the LOS. Thanks in advance for any replies or advice- Terry

P.s. would it be better if I book my room online in advance? With this being high season how hard will it be to get a room?

Sorry: Unable to help with the best travel store but as far as booking hotel in advance I would do that now if I were you. High season things get rather full in a hurry.

Have a great trip and welcome to the addiction.

May the best of your past, be the worst of your future.

I've used www.bt-store.com before a few years ago. They are legit. The purchase procedure was a little more difficult and you will get a ticket not an e-ticket. They will mail the ticket to you via courier which I think was Airbourne/DHL so you better be home.

thanks, I went ahead and booked with them, they are issuing e tickets now, I just got mine yesterday. I emailed Kevin at Jasmine and got my room booked, now comes the hard part... the waiting!

I used them on my first two trips. My biggest problem was not knowing how much the ticket total including taxes was until I had already purchased the ticket. The other problem was having to fax your CC info instead of being able to pay online. Truth be told, they are not that much cheaper that buying direct from United's web site (I only fly United). I was only offered the E-ticket, but could pay extra if I wanted the actual paper tickets.

I have used BTS many times now and had nothing but good success with them. Never a problem using credit card on line purchasing a ticket, I get my airline miles and the prices can't be beat. I have searched a ton of supposedly cheap airfare websites and nothing has EVER been cheaper or even close to their price. But if you are going around a popular holiday period like Christmas, you need to buy your ticket in Aug or early Sep. From what I understand, they get a limited number of discount seats from all the airlines they sell for and that's it. The one drawback is that sometimes if you have to call them, the wait can be a little bit but the people I have talked to have all been very nice, explained whatever I wanted to know and have always been very helpful. They only sell flights from the USA to outside the country.

bro, find a airlines that goes from penn to BKK (obviously) and start accumulating mileage so you can eventually get a free ticket. i know a lot of airlines won't honor mileage if bought from a 3rd party. you will be going to LOS again- trust me, might as well get the mileage out of it.

also, keep in mind that most prices online will be economy. i fly eva air and always get the economy deluxe. its a bigger seat- and im not a fat ass, i just dont want to be elbow to elbow with people for 14 hours.

book hotel online. be sure to get an email confirmation.
