Fire engulfs room above North Pattaya Beer Bar.

 

At 10.30 on Wednesday Night, Police Lieutenant Colonel Sumreun from Pattaya Police Station made his way to the Family House Beer Bar opposite the Central Festival Center at the North end of Pattaya Second Road to investigate a fire at the location. Fire Rescue Units were scrambled to the location to fight the fire which occurred on the 1st floor of the building which housed the staff working at the bar. The fire was quickly brought under control and the cause of the fire was investigated. At the same time, Police spoke with the owner of the Beer Bar, Khun Nipa aged 45 who confirmed that everyone was accounted for. The cause of the fire was put down to an electrical short circuit and the cost of the damage was estimated at 100,000 Baht
