I will be returning to Bangkok arriving by train at 6.50am Tues 6 August.

I’m going to kill 6-7 hours at Pratunam (shopping) or Siam Complex (cinema) before flying out of Don Muang. Looking at BTS/MRT maps it appears it would be more practical to take a taxi from Hua Lamphong rather than travel to either place by public transport. Comments?

You could always kill the long wait before either venue opens by walking to them from Hua Lamphong.
