Well I think the restaurant near monkey junction did fantastic pizza last time I went looking for Italian restaurant. La Bocca I think. Very good food.

Not Italian, But the surf Kitchen is a Great place to Eat and If you see a Restaurant full, You know its going to be good.

I agree on La Bocca. I visited the shop several times during my month long stay in August, and plan to make it one of my first stops when I return on 22 March. I am an American living and working in Japan, and the pizza here sucks. The #1 selling pizza in Japan is Tuna and Mayonnaise, you can not make that shit up.

Tell me, my friend....Why do you not have Minestrone on the Menu??

I called in a couple of weeks ago.....really felt like a "Real" minestrone.....not just a watery vegetable soup.....but it was not to be found on your Menu..... I was sad

 

Also.....years ago in Australia....in Sydney, top of Oxford Street, near Kings Cross....in a little downstairs place....they made the best Italian dish I have ever eaten..... Cannelloni..... not the Spinach & Ricotta variety....but made with minced Pork & minced Veal......it was too die for....

 

Only ever had one to come near it....but that was in my Calabrese friend's house....cooked by his Mama & his sister.....they used to make like 100 tubes at a time....serve me 4....then expect me to eat a main course after,,,,,, Impossible.....lol

 

Haven't seen this dish anywhere....for years.....wish I could find it

 

Will be in for some more of your fine food soon

Definitely Gians, fantastic old fashioned service and the waitstaff all speak good english. Food can't be faulted and is as close to real home cooked Italian as you can get. I was married to an Italian and their pasta is truly al dente and as close to Mammas that I have found!

If the pizza your place served me on Sunday looked anything like your promotional video....then maybe OK....but I ordered a Vesuvio ...with Olives....LOL

...What was brought to the table looked more like a Margarita....but with LESS toppings.....and 2 Olives

 

Your staff did a really good job......of making Pizza Company look good.....555

But if you really want to 'push the boat out' I can recommend Bruno's.

Obviously you have not read my previous posts.... and I do not do....American style food....of any description.....

Let me type slowly, so it's easier for you to understand......

 

You posted to Redfred that all your photos were from your kitchen.....man I wish I had of taken a photo of the "Pizza" that was served up to us......and maybe you could explain the difference to the one posted in your promotional video

Maybe, if what you served up even remotely looked like the pizza in your video.....you would have had a happy customer....but it didn't

I always worry when someone has to use a forum to sell their food, Its like there getting desperate. I always think that if a restaurant is good, word of mouth will will fill the restaurant, I used to go on about surf kitchen, Good food at a good price, Always full. After the first visit, I wrote about it on Trip advisor, It was that good, But on my last visit, i found that it was not so good and wrote about it on this forum. I will be in Jomtien next week, So Little mermaid, You may get a secret Eater!!!  Think of me as Gordon Ramsey Checking you out, But under cover!!!!
