Never been to Thailand Dutchie ?

Vrijwel alle attracties zijn duurder voor een farang dan voor een Thai .

Geldt dat ook voor de bar girls? Dat zijn de enige attracties waar ik me mee bezig heb gehouden ;-)

That was strange... this was the first post I was actually looking at the pictures and did'nt notice there was a hot girl in the picture.

Thanks Jerry, I wasn't aware of it.

I imagine they'd benefit from using your photographs to get it out there.

Excellent work as always.

I doubt it's only more expensive for farangs - just cheaper for Thai nationals.  Expats who pay tax can also benefit from the Thai price.  Cheaper prices for locals is quite common in many places.

Great photos and very cute girl!

Great thread. I will visit soon and hopefully take some pictures but I doubt they will be as good as yours.

There are some that only employ words for the purpose of disguising their thoughts.

As the price differential is causing comment, did you try your Thai Driving Licence, which I know works in some places?

this is Thailand

I know it always happens in Thailand :) just wondered if annyone could explain it. Maybe the Thai government gives a subsidy to this place?

Why should paying tax have anything to do with what a private enterprise charges its customers?

Thanks Brewster ,

still think the price is higher for farang instead of 'just cheaper for Thai nationals' . I don't think almost

2 times an average daily salary is a normal entry price for something like this in Thailand .

Like some members already mentioned , take you Thai driving license and you will get the same price

as a Thai national .

No idea.  But I have a neat laminated card, provided by my Thai employer, that describes my tax status in Thailand and works well in all kinds of situations when it pays to be a "local".

Some excellent pictures there Jerry. I took my GF there this afternoon and she really enjoyed it.

They were happy to let me in for 150 baht after showing my THai DL.
