After a great campaign who would have thought Scotland would have a chance of qualifying come the last game? I really hope they do, but beating the World Champs is gonna be tough.

 

I think crucially they may have blown their chances in Georgia. A huge difference needing a draw against a team like Italy rather than having to win.

It's hard to call because Scotland are playing the best they have in decades and there is a strong bond and belieff in the team. Good game to watch.

I have followed Scotland passionately for many years. What i believe will happen is that the Scots will play extremely well and hold the Itlians to 0 - 0 up until the 90th minute. In the last minute of added on time the Italians will be awarded a penalty due to one of thier players diving in the box. They will score from the spot even though the Scottish keeper will go the right way and get a finger to the ball.

 

The game will be classed as a heroic failure but the commentators will say that the Scottish team shouldnt be disappointed and should hold thier heads up high because they did thier country proud against one of the best teams in the world. Well thats what normally happens.

 

I hope we kick Italian ass.
