I'm having trouble finding a good, cheap hotel in early January for the first two weeks. I am looking for a place under 1000 Baht that has availability, any ideas?

I always get a quote via email then check out the price on Asiarooms and go for the cheapest.....but beware they are not necessarily the same type of room...I stay at Sabai Lodge booking directly via email which is over your budget...but Asia rooms has it for < 1000 baht....but that is a room at the back with only a small window....But you have exactly the same facilities as everyone else..

http://www.asiarooms.com/thailand/pattaya....3&type=desc

Pages 3 and 4 cover your budget...

Otherwise I would recommend Nautical or Natural Beach on Beach road...but don't have phone numbers or Email details..sorry..

>>>>>Or Sunshine Vista on Soi 3.......This used to be my regular untill I found Sabai Lodge.......

I'd say don't sweat the small stuff, shouldn't be a pompem to find something once you get there... Might try White Inn: [email protected] (038)429841, right behind Walking Street on the road to jomentien, think I paid 450bt/nt in april. Very nice place/location for the money, I've pd double for worse.

see ya all sunday!!

Canterbury Tales Cafe, Soi Chaiyapoon, just off Soi Bauhkow has 20 rooms and has gaps here and there in Jan.

call Dave on 0865 754 966 or reception 038 720 946.

Try Jasmine Hotel. About 650.00 Baht a night. In the mddle of the action.

I booked a Superior+ as Jasmine hotel for 850 / nite. Seems like a good deal for a decent hotel. Thanks for the info!
