Netsuke- 17th to 19th century, a father of the groom would give his son miniature piece's of ivory, wood, jade, bronze, etc. depicting couples having sex. On the wedding night, the groom would place the piece's/position's, he expected from his bride that night, on her pillow, when she came to bed she would oblige. If only the women from our country's were so obliging, maybe we all wouldn't be here now !! 555555555

 

And some piece's were just carved for fun, "The Dickhead" & the Lezzie's for example.

Dave, I failed to see your display/collection when I last visited your house, however as your house is very big it is  understandable that I did.
