LK Metro Area Recommendations

Most of the time on I stay close to Soi 6 or Walking Street, but this next trip I would like to stay close to the LK Metro Area.

 

Can you please recommend a place to stay in the LK Metro Area.

 

1. Close to Soi LK Metro.

 

2. Must be safe and secure to lock up my photography/computer gear.

 

3. Stable, decent speed internet connection.

 

4. I would rather not stay at a place where I have to walk though the bar with my bar fines. If they have a separate entrance that is ok.

 

5. Would like a quite room during the day, not directly above a bar with loud music at night, non smoking room if possible

 

6. Any price is ok.

I recently stayed at both LK Renaissance and LK Metropole. I think I preferred Metropole a little better, nicer pool area, staff friendlier. There is a 7-11 just outside the door-1 minute walk to LK Metro.

Stayed at the Areca in the Evergreen wing - you can go in the back way (through the mall and in the back gate) to avoid most of the building watching your conquest. Still have to go past the Evergreen desk - no worries there. Took the executive sized room and was really happy with everything.

I should of added that I don't need a place with a pool or gym. So if I can get a nice place to stay with out paying the extra cost of having a pool or gym. I would rather spend on the barfines and drinks.

All the guesthouses are pretty good for a cheaper price, they pretty much all have a small lock up wall safe, usually about 700-800thb...

 

I can recommend Chow Soy, The Rockhouse, Irish rovers etc, all worth a look if you're on a budget, & so far I have not been let down with quality anywhere!

Yeah I like the guest houses. Sometimes they have nice rooms and take care of the guests.

I have stayed at LK Metropole and tims boutique which is nows intimate hotel (same owner)

Both really good and about the same money

Now a cheep little gem is opey de place http://www.opeydeplacepattaya.com/, its amazing

Only negative was they do not have in room safes

Why stay close to LK when you can stay in LK - much more fun to be in amongst it.

 

I've stayed at Billabong last 2 trips and had a great time - although the girls love to get on the piss with you so be careful.

On your room listing page. I don't see anything about a safe in the room to lock up my valuables.

 

Is there a secure safe in the rooms ?

 

Does the hotel have a separate entrance than the bar ?

 

Can you hear the music from the bar very loud in the rooms ?

I always thought the Areca looked nice but the hotel policy of minimum age of joiners being 20 has kept me from staying there.

Hi I stay at areca lodge evergreen, wifi is free and quick,

So you don't like the pool this is a big feature at areca it is what you pay for.

So you should try Killkenny in LK Metro or as said Billabong both have cheap rooms and great food.

but quiet NA. Destiny looks good I will have to check it out but I am a pool guy

Alex runs a good show at the Rockhouse, many repeat clients, plus right in the heart of heaven

Rooms at Destiny are outstanding. Might be the best bathroom/shower setup in Pattaya. Balcony overlooks Soi LK, rooms are quiet despite being above GG bar. Separate entrance and as I recall they have a deal for guests with girls from the bar. Well worth a look.
