Disabled,not severley looking for accom

Hi Gentlemen,

 

I have a bit of a disability,but not severe but I am looking for a bit of help here.

 

I used to stay at the old Lek hotel which I could walk straight into from Second Rd which was good but now I have got a bit worse and cannot stay there anymore because it is shower over bath

 

I do not care what area I stay in price to 1200 baht and I will stay in the low season for a month

 

What I need is.

 

No stairs at front,or it there are stairs I can manage ok with a rail on stairs that I can hold onto,a ramp is great

 

An Elevator

 

A walk in shower not a shower over the bath

 

I believe The Oprey De Place would be ok.Has anyone stayed there,or I would welcome other suggestions

We are in the process of renovating a ground floor room it has wheel chair access it will be ready in a week or so from now, it will have a brand new walk in shower room/toilet, non slip tiles etc, it will be a 2 bed room so capable of accommodating 2 guys such as also a carer for a more disabled person.

All the normal amenities, TV, DVD player, A/C, fans etc, the room is in soi Chayapoon, building D on the website although obviously no Photo's as yet, 5 mins walk to LK Metro and 50 yards from soi Baukhao & the baht bus route.

I will add full details as soon as all is finished.

Pattaya Bay Resort used to have a few rooms that were specially set up for people with disabilities. Not sure if that is still the case but you could drop then an email and ask them.
