Three men were arrested at a Rayong house for using and dealing drugs. Sattahip police and drug enforcement officers seized 51 meth tablets and 3 grams of crystal meth or “ice.” The 22-year-old homeowner said he began selling drugs after losing his job a year ago.

RAYONG – December 24, 2012 [PDN]; at 3 p.m., three suspects were arrested at a suspected drug house by Sattahip sheriff Mr. Phawat Lertmukda, along with Mr. Chawat Teptap, the security general secretary, who coordinated the operation with the National Command Centre for Combating Drugs.

The suspect drug house was located at 83/126, moo1, Pla, Banchang, Rayong. Police arrested three suspects along with drugs and drug-using equipment. The suspects were identified as Mr. Wuttipong Sanusit, 22 years old; Mr. Yongyuth Kongin or Kai, 31 years old, and Mr. Seksan Klongklaew or A, 26 years old.

Officers seized 51 tablets of meth and 3 grams of ice. When police searched the homeowner Mr. Wuttipong, they found some meth and ice in his pocket. Some drugs had been thrown into the toilet.

Sheriff Phawat said the house raid resulted after his office received information that Mr. Wuttipong was behaving like a drug dealer, and he was using his house as a place to sell drugs and where people could gather to consume drugs without fear of the law.

So the sheriff brought his forces to arrest Mr. Wuttipong, as well as the two other suspects in the house who were caught using drugs in a room. During questioning, Mr. Wuttipong confessed that he had lost his job for more than a year and had no money. So he became a drug dealer and sold drugs mostly to local teenagers.

Mr. Wuttipong said he obtained his meth to seel from a Mr. Pao, a big drug dealer in Banchang. However, Mr. Pao had apparently known about the impending raid and had escaped from the area.
