If you book an hotel through Agoda do you have to pay the full amount in full up front, or do they just take a deposit and pay the rest when you arrive.

Got my eye on a place and was just wondering. The answers probabaly out there if i looked, but thought it easier to ask here.

Not too bothered either way to be honest, its just to know where i stand if i booked.

cheers.

All up front.

Sometimes you can cancel, sometimes you can't.

Depends on the price you pay.

You pay all up front. Agoda gives you a voucher to pay for the room. When you check in you give credit card for charges like room service, meals, or mini bar.

If you have any problems with the room you'll also have to work through Agoda to fix...
I got a room on Soi 8 I wasn't happy with but was able to upgrade by calling Agoda.

The hotel acted powerless and wanted to charge more than Agoda.

In the end Agoda did a good quick job.

The reviews are pretty accurate, I've only been disappointed 2x in 6 years and both were addressed quickly :)

Try Hotelscombined.com and Wego.com but I prefer the first. You get all the rates including from Agoda and Booking.com. If you dont want to pay upfront, booking.com is your only choice as most bookings on Agoda are prepaid.

Forget health clinics and gyms. Sex is the best cure. One good night of sex and your problems are gone.

Yes, all up front. Refunds and cancellations policy is detailed for each room type at a hotel on the front page of that hotel listing. Sometimes, no refunds, sometimes there's a time limit, sometimes there's a one night fee. Just read before you book.

I've done a cancellation with them. No problem, except it took a week or two for the money to be refunded to my credit card.
