I always say 'tee nay hong nam'? but I know that's just plain rude.

Live, travel, adventure, bless, and don't be sorry. - Jack Kerouac
Find what you love and let it kill you. - Charles Bukowski
Two things awe me most, the starry sky above me and the moral law within me. - Immanuel Kant
Real knowledge is to know the extent of one's ignorance. - Confucius
I wish I could show you when you are alone or in darkness the astonishing light of your own being. - Hafiz of Shiraz
You need chaos in your soul to give birth to a dancing star. - Friedrich Nietzsche
Those who can make you believe absurdities can make you commit atrocities. - Voltaire
I spent a lot of money on booze, birds and fast cars. The rest I just squandered. - George Best
To live is the rarest thing in the world. Most people exist, that is all. - Oscar Wilde
The general public doesn't know what's happening, and it doesn't even know that it doesn't know. - Noam Chomsky
What can be asserted without evidence can also be dismissed without evidence. - Christopher Hitchens

The correct way is "Hong Naam yuu thii nai khrap?" A very formal word for toilet is sukhhaa and a very impolite one is Hong suam. It will probably sound a bit off if you try to use any of these though.

That is correct.....and if you want to be extra polite you can use p' (sao or chai) krap or nong (sao or chai) krap before

P' krap hong naam yuu thii nai krap....

Yes, that would make it very polite. Depends on how much of a hurry you are in to get to the toilet really.

Wai'ing the toilet attendant? brilliant. It's true what they say that a little knowledge can be a dangerous thing.

Technically correct but rather long winded. The GF uses the expression "lang hoy" when she goes for a leak :P

I've never wai'd anyone in my previous trips to previous parts of Thailand. I didnt say anything but myself and the toilet attendant both smiled at eachother whilst not trying to laugh.

Err no.....different word mate.

Laang (wash) = long vowel with hi tone.

Lang (pour, let flow) = short vowel with lo tone.

Cheers mate, that's the problem with exchanging Thai like this, everybody uses a different transliteration to roman script, plus I have no tone marks on my computer and as you know one tone can change a meaning totally. I guess the answer is to show everything in Thai script or use a common phonetic system.

This is polite surely, but the part after the "na khrap", wherein you complain that you really need to take a leak badly, might be just a tad more information than needed.

Yeah ... I thought the bit about explaining just exactly what you wanted to do was just a bit too much :Oops1:

    • For those that don't know, I did Friday meetings before many years ago,  I feel like we are missing a regular meeting for members,  I am aware guys meet at PA affiliated bars. But I want to start meeting people again, I'm inviting the guys following my YouTube also.

The meetings is a chance to get to meet each other,  I plan to be at every meeting, I also have Dean from Dive bar that has offered to help out with a crawl after.
The meetings will be  Monday  6 pm - 8 pm each week.  (The improvised bar crawl will commence at 8 p.m.  Dean will make his own plans for that.)

Due to low numbers of people in town, I will start the meetings in our bars to help our girls and managers, please check back often incase things are changed.  I will be sharing the love around town later, but Soi 6 is first on my list (including bars that are friendly competition)
If bar owners want us to have a meeting at their bar,  they need to have a minimum of 10 girls.  I'm not dragging people to empty bars for favours.
Please help us invite other members, it takes a while to get momentum.
Monday 6 pm - 8pm  (then bar crawl after)
      21st March - Playpen Soi 6

18th April - where angels play Soi 6
25th April -  (next bar we have open)

2nd May - (next bar we have open)
      9th May - Cooters bar soi 6
16th May - Hot shots bar Soi 6
23rd May - (next bar we have open)
      30th of May - Lust soi 6
      6th of June - Illuzion
13th of June - (next bar we have open)

I look forward to meeting people again.
