Anyone staying at Pattaya Bay Resort right now?

Featured Replies

I am just wondering if anyone is staying at PBR at this moment or has staying in the last week, can you let me know what the noise from the construction is like, I'm not a light sleeper but I could do without excessive noise in the morning if it is really bad.

Can anyone please let me know?

Thanks in advance

OK, the forum has tried to be clever and has changed the subject title, it should say "Anyone staying at Pattaya Bay Resort right now"

Any chance a mod can change that for me?

Anyone?

Not staying there, but construction of the new wing in front is well under way, it's well screened, but there's bound to be noise and dust. The condo build in back is due to start in July (according to the developer), so no disruption there yet.

I'd advise asking for a room at the back.

thanks for the reply

I've been here 3 weeks now and the noise is minimal. There is work on the new wing on the front side that can not be heared in rooms on the back side. There is a small construction project on the back side but this has been no real issue for sleeping well into the morning (1100 to 1200). Hope this helps. Pattaya Bay Resort is a great place to stay in my book.

Try the Sandy Springs on Soi 13. It's very quiet there.

I was there last week. The noise level was minimum, IMO. Also, I thought the staff was very good. I will stay there my next visit.

I stayed there just before the construction work got started so can't comment on the noise, but I can say it's a great hotel, very clean, nice pool, nice staff and no joiner fees. If it wasn't for the construction work I'd def book again.

Hi Folks.

I was wondering if any BMs who are currently staying at the PBR could please give an update on the status of construction in front of the hotel. I was told that it was due to resume on 10 January so I am assuming that the construction is in full swing
mode.

Thanks in advance.
