This is more like asking for your opinion about the subject. Before finding this forum I've read some reviews about Areca and booked if for my first trip to Pattaya early next year. But after going through the forum I found out that PBR was more monger friendly than Areca. As I've understood Areca charges for a third guest and allows only girls older than 20.

 

As I can cancel Areca free of charge, now I'm thinking whether it's a good move to go with PBR. I also got to know that PBR has a nearby construction which makes things quite noisy. But I wouldn't mind that a lot if it's not unbearable.

 

So given my situation, what's your opinion? Should I just go with Areca or move to BPR. I know that it's my decision, but would be glad to hear an opinion of someone who's been to Pats.

I've stayed at both several times and I've settled on PBR. While Areca is a nicer property I feel that PBR is a better value with great staff. Also, Areca seems to be getting more and more families these days while PBR is almost exclusively mongers which makes things more comfortable.

 

Construction is an issue. The only thing I can recommend is contacting them ahead of time and requesting a quiet room. It's all based on availability and there are no guarantees but it will give you a better shot than those that don't ask.

Look at The Residence Garden. 1450 a night for nice large newly updated 1BR apartments and two pools. Baht bus out front to Jomtien and Pattaya. Walk in to Walking Street if roads are chocked up.

I have only stayed at Pattaya Bay Resort but if you have the option to change free of charge then go for it. Why deny yourself some lovely 18 and 19 year olds coming back to your room?

If you think there's any chance of you bringing back a 18/19 year old, or a second or third girl, don't go anywhere near Areca Lodge! As Allwet says, it's far more interested in the couples/families market, and seems to be doing its best to put off single guys.

 

PBR is great, but there is a risk of noise and you might find it booked up, unless the construction noise has led to cancellations.

I've always stayed at Areca lodge.. not a bad thing to say about it really. Yes the joiner thing some people don't like.. but i'm only young myself and I don't feel the need to take any real young girls, as they generally don't speak English and are a shite shag so that doesn't bother me.. Had a 3some.. no problem bringing extra guest in they just add it to your bill. Great pools and rooms.

I stayed @PBR in october, 3th floor with a view on the construction works... Didn't hear any bothering noise tbh...

I have stayed at Areca many times. Had an 18 yr old refused this time and paid for a 3rd guest. Won't happen again cuz I won't stay there again. LK Renaissance never checks and is a nicer place. PBR isn't as nice. So depending on your budget make the choice.

Believe the PBR has construction ongoing at back and now front hotel , mind you seems half the hotels in Pattaya have construction around them , the place sure is booming .

Legal age is 18 so i dont see what reason the hotel should have to make it 20. Personally i dont care as i do go for the ones in their mid or late twenties or even in their thirties, but i would not stay there just bcause i dont think the hotel should decide who im bringing home as long as she is at a legal age. They do check the ID so if she is underage i can fully understand but if she is 18+ it is IMHO up to me and not up to them.

Legal age is 18 so i dont see what reason the hotel should have to make it 20. Personally i dont care as i do go for the ones in their mid or late twenties or even in their thirties, but i would not stay there just bcause i dont think the hotel should decide who im bringing home as long as she is at a legal age. Some other hotels I've stayed at have been a bit off with accepting girls 18.. they feel they are too young and myself even being 22 it doesn't feel right, especially in a foreign country i'd have no problem at home, guys over 30 must be right dirty old cunts to be taking 18 year olds imo.

I guess it is Horses for Courses. I personally am not interested in any girl under 30 and would go to DD if I felt the need for a threesome, so the Areca suits me just fine. I must admit that the ages of the guests at the Areca seems to be getting older every visit. Not all of us "Right dirty old cunts" are looking for 18 yo.

Fair enough. For me, Pattaya's all about the cute, slim, pretty young things, so Areca Lodge is a no-no.

Thanks guys for all the replies. I am more inclined towards Pattaya Bay Resort now. So will be cancelling Areca and move to Pattaya Bay Resort, seems it saves me around $150

Well that is just my experience as I said, the older guys who i've hung around with in LOS, felt this way and I agreed with them.

you must have not hung around with many older guys... cause there's plenty of 40+ guys who adore and prefer gals in their 20's like myself.

 

here's my opinion, younger guys like yourself are not very well equipped to preach to older guys.
