Getting a daily dressing change in Pattaya

Featured Replies

So two weeks ago I had the nightmare of having to have the incision and drainage of two pilonidal abcess on my backside (stop laughing now)

The pain has completely gone but I'm left with two wounds which are being daily packed with alginate tape and redressed.

I have a two week holiday in Patts booked for this coming Friday which I am umm'ing and ahh'ing about going on.

Does anybody know if I brought my own stuff could I arrange for it to be redressed daily at one of the clinics / hospitals etc in Patts

Thanks

certain they will for a fee.

when i had viral conjuctivitis last year, i needed 4 hourly treatments of eye drops and cream, so i moved a thai bar girl in with me for far less than 1000 baht a day to do treatment and provide the normal extra services.

money well spent imho.

I Have to were a compresion bandage on my leg.Went to a clinic near 3rd rd.

Soi hotel day night. Cant remeber the name. As i just showed the clinic's card to the moto taxi. Took my own bandages no problem with the nurse changing it.5OO bt a time.nice nurse knows what she's doing.

If you want ? i think i still have the tel number. can have a look for it!

Thanks for the reply guys but i have decided to delay my trip to february when everything should be back to normal

  • 2 weeks later...

just incase you decide to go, Pattaya International Hospital near Soi 4 provided great service and very cute nurses. Cost of dressing on infection on knee and stitches on other leg between 200-300 baht per day.
