Tukcom is your best bet, lots of stolen and lost ones end up there if you don't mind a used one.

I was in there yesterday and I saw 18k for the 4s. There is a site for MBK that alot of the phone shops list all their prices. It's a good way to know what you should be paying.

I'd assume the price drop isn't significant because the iPhone 5 is higher priced (I think) compared to the price of the 4s when it was released.

An Apple product never drops drastically in price . They are masters in marketing and know very well when the 4s

is to cheap they won't sell the 5 .

 

If you don't have the cash look for something different , very easy .

If you are interested I have a Samsung Galaxy S for sale dual processor memory expandable to 32 gigs, flawless phone less than one year old. Lightning fast and a better phone than the 4s. The voice commands work perfect and I use it in Thailand. It really is a smaller version of the Galaxy III and comparable in size to the iphone 4s but bigger screen. PM me if interested.

MBK is Mah Boon Kran (I am probably spelling it right but that's essentially the pronunciation) It is a huge mall in Siam Square area of Bangkok. I thought Pantip would be better but I buy phones from the west which are much cheaper.

 

Tukcom in Pattaya is your best bet. I saw a used 4s and I believe they wanted 14k baht and was used in excellent condition and an original product. Note many are not orignal and are "copies". I don't buy "app-uhn" stuff so I can't tell you how to know what is fake or not.

 

A friend just bought a samsung galaxy s3 and central festival in the samsung store for I think 19k ish baht. it was 2k off the normal price for the bluish colored one.

If you are concerned about this I think it is best to go to one of the larger shops in Pattaya. Certainly if you are on holiday and will be taking the phone home with you this is a far better option. This is because they are able to give you the paperwork necessary to get the tax back when you go home. I found that the price (inc tax) was the same as in the small shops in Tucom.

That would be on a plan but people are quoting prices for unlocked phones.

would be interestd in a nearly new Iphone 4s as use one here in UK but want a second back up phone and that can give to the tirak too, but so many stalls in Tukcom and theyre selling fakes aswell there so have to be careful.

Be nice to know who they are and where as be there next month.
