Apparently at the 'request' of Fernando Torres, according to Chelsea fans on SSN this morning. I would well believe this as well. This seems to be a sign of the times at the moment, ..too much player power. Here's a man who wouldn't have taken much of their nonsense ;

Sure, but he doesn't got a chance if you compare him to the likes of Alex Ferguson and Guardiola.

This is what he won when he was in Liverpool:

Not that great if you consider the history that Liverpool got :GoldenSmile1:

But at no point in their illustrious history were Liverpool so heavily in the red as they were when Rafa was in charge. If you look at the other teams around Liverpool that time and how much they spent net its actually a good achievement. Winning the CL and getting to another final a few years later. Not so good in the league but came 2nd and I think that points total in previous years was enough to win it.

It's a good move for him as he needed to get himself back into work. Not only that but Rafa knows how to get the beat out of Torres.

Yeah, thats true. But still, getting sacked after a 7th place with Liverpool. Abramovich got a great track record of sacking managers.. Is it something like an average of 240 days they got there? He maybe is a great coach, but i don't recon he will be staying there for a long time. Hope I'm wrong tho...

If Guardiola becomes available in the summer I'm sure Chelsea will go for him.

And Arry is at QPR, I thought he was holding out for a proper club

England made their move with Woy. Arry needs to get himself back in the game. Surprised he was not in the running for the Chelsea job.

Maybe for a change Chelsea fans can show some class and get behind the team and manager instead of expecting to be spoonfed everything as has been the case since Abramovich came along.

By 2020 everyone will live within 5 miles of an ex Chelsea manager.

Recycled yet again and the Chelski fans will NEVER accept him.Just look at their reaction to him during the Man City match.

As a Chelsea fan all my life I hope we win nothing this year and get rid of manger no10 ASAP we just don't want him and take Torres with you

MIKE

The Chelsea crowd really showed Abramovich their opinion on hiring the spanish waiter - I have never heard a crowd boo a new manager like that.

I enjoyed his after game interview when he claimed that he never heard the boo's - is he deaf?

If he loses a few games the crowd will be looking for blood!

In all my life I've never seen a more classless bunch of fans. I hope one day Abramovich decides he's had enough of his football toy. The club would quickly go into admin and I'd love to see what they sing then.
