Thats a shame I was enjoying that poor run, maybe they should have question number 1 on the application form,

1, Can you control John Terry and learn to shut his mouth?

Give the job to Tevez I hate that Tit.

Average life span Chelsea manager 12 months, he didn't quite make it, only managed to win Champions Leauge and FA cup,

Think Chelsea should only be giving their managers a rolling one year contract, makes sense, will save them money in pay off fees. But they don't really care about money 50 mil for Torres

O they made a profit last year 555

Thibk JT for job with Frankie assistant

Abrahomivic didn't become an oligarch because of his sweet disposition....he wants Chelsea to be the best team in the world, playing attractive football and winning everything.

Mourinho came closest to what he wanted, he raised the profile, played some terrific stuff, had some great players, in fact done just about everything ( apart from the CL) and even he was "forced" out.

I don't think any of the managers since him have had the charisma needed to reach the heights he aspires to. Gary Neville ( believe it or not) wrote a good article recently saying Chelsea have no identity and I tend to agree with that. They were exciting in the Mourinho era and IMHO have not been since.

Di Matteo made me cringe after the CL win with his sycophantic antics towards Abromovitch and I'm sure the Russian always saw him as purely a stand in.

Guardiola, if they go for him, will also will fail I believe, despite his success at Barca, He was steeped in Barca history and most of his great players ( Xavi, Iniesta, Messi) were there before he took over. He signed Ibrahimovic then got rid of him because he couldn't handle a strong personality.

I can't see too many likely candidates to be honest......unless he could tempt Ferguson!!!!...haha

EASIER TO FIRE ONE GUY THAN HALF OF THE TEAM

I t must be the best job in the world.

Your succesful you make millions

You fail you make millions

Two good things about the Chelsea job,

1, like you said make millions sacked or not

2, when you get the Job your seat is still warm :GoldenSmile1:

Sure your new manager will do a good job like he did at Liverpool, why don't they get somebody who can speak good English and they can then tell what that disgraced John Terry is saying on the pitch. :Think1:

Hey Boys

Just seen an advertisement in the UK, Chelsea are looking for part time manager, he has to be availiable immediately and speak 24 different languages :GoldenSmile1:

But the main aspect of the job is being shit scared of John Terry and you have to believe how good he is :hello09:

Really , 9 managers in 9 years !! Only in football .

I guess the judgement of the owner / hirer/ firer should be the issue .

Enough with those years. But, I must say 9 years is so long.
