been to patong and ive heard its way more expensive than pattaya. Im a 23 year old male party hard but im preety tight with my money when it comes to the bar scene in thailand.

If your not going to do the tourist thing or play golf then with 4 thousand you will live like a king.

With 3 thousand you will still have a great time.

That's providing you don't get involved with a long time girl that has a couple of friends.

Just accommodation, drinking bar fines and girl costs along with food should set you back about 200 a day that's dollars mind you and being liberal.

I drink only beer so I pay in bars from 50 to 80 baht, it's a bit more expensive in the clubs.

Free girls exist everywhere, if your good enough. But why come to Pattaya if that's what you want.

If you are a hansum man you might get a freebie or 2 from a TG , geeze the bar girls and free lancers are cheap enough for a night of fun or a short time, even a stunner in a club is cheap for the night, well compared to what i would have to pay for a night with a fugly girl here in perth,

but anyway as it sounds like you are a cheap charlie, so here are a few tips, you could buy your drinks from a 7 eleven cheap beer there, and then sit at the coconut bar waiting for a free lancer to offer you free sex, coz you must be hansum man 4sure,

While you could find a "free" girl, you shouldn't be betting your entire holiday on it, and also remembering that "free" usually comes with associated costs.

 

Really depends up what you mean by party, and who you are partying with and where. Probably cheaper to party in your room with two freelancers and drinks from 7/11 than getting a girl from a GoGo LT and drinking in the GG, then later in the Disco.

 

Anywhere from 5000-15000 THB/day. Read some of the Trip Reports and they will give you a feel for prices, or describe a typical and a big day as you see it, from drinks and girls perspective? Like how many drinks, how many lady drinks, normal bar, beer bar, gogo, disco, how many ST and where (from freelancer on street, from soi 6, from beer bar, from gogo, from disco), how many LT and where.

 

"party" and "tight" are really mutually exclusive, so you really need to flesh out what you what to achieve.

 

Finding a freelancer LLT and drinking in your room or a cheap bar will probably be "tightest", and you can still get drunk and noisy and laid, but is that what you want? Or do you want to be out in the beer bars, soi6, gogos and discos?

Ive bin to patong twice ok which ive been told is more expensive than pattaya. I drank everyday from 5pm till 5am sometimes till 11am when i could still find drinks at that time. but i drank buckets of vodka from the bar . buckets = cheap but still get you real drunk.

then i had some girls that would come for free after work occasionally but i also slapped some freelancers 500-1000 for short time or long time. anyway long story short.

 

i went wild for 14 days had a girl in my bed every night, shopped and did a few tourist things and spent only 2000 australian dollers (60000 baht). ( not including accomodation that was the expensive bit) which wont be in pattaya im looking at that secrets place?

5000 odd baht a day is reasonable, your way of doing things is novel to me worth a try. Though as I see it some places frown on it. Finding you in an alley is an outcome that springs to mind with a lot of bruising.

There's being thrifty -trying to get a good deal or there's being cheap-taking advantage of someone who has fewer choices in life.

When you pull some shady shit to avoid a bar fine the rest of us will have to pay extra when the bar fines go up.

A friend of mine spends this amount of money every time he's there, he has a very good time.

Really $1,400 is $100 per day which is 3,000 baht, by sticking to the 1K girls or 1,300 including Barfine (plenty of them to be found and the guy had been doing that before) you can afford it.

 

Anyway don't listen to the bitter 2 week millionaires (me included!) that can afford and do spend a lot more than you. Just read the cheap charlie threads for tips.

lol.....I don't drink at all and I party like a mother fucker, and I will be it patts for my 6th trip in about 30 days I will be there for 3 weeks and I always take 6,500 dollars with me hotel & condo all ready paid for and I always come back home with money. I like the discos mixx, mikes I bar, and a diffrent girl every night oh yeah and shopping.

I'd have a wank just before you go out to take the edge off your libido.
