Emirates, First Class on A380

Having couple of miles, which would expire by August, I decided to use them.

For 38000 Miles I got a flight from BKK-HKG in first class and the return flight was in eco. The taxes and charges were 1200THB.

Thanks for posting the pics, 38000 miles not bad looks like a long weekend in HKK is on at some point. I fly the A380 a lot but always at the back being a tight git Would rather spend my money on other things but do have plenty or air miles.

Have flown a lot of business in the past (with work) never first class but the A380 is the best!

I have had the plesure of flying thais new A380 in both business and first class but I have to admit that Emirates first class is better.

Just a pity they are not in the star alians.

Always fly Emirates BKK-HKG. Very good pricing for Economy also, often cheaper than Air Asia. A380 Economy is not bad either.

 

I have over a million Star Alliance Miles but I don't think they can be use for Emirates.

How can Emirates be part of star alliance but not accept ff miles? I was on a points flight (in business) out of ORD and there was a delay with my UA flight that was going to cause me to miss a connection in HKG so the agent found a seat on an Emirates flight but when he realized my flight was booked with points he couldn't put me on it. I never understood that.
