Hi guys,

I want to apply for a visa for my Thai girlfriend to go to New Zealand. I found all

the application forms on the immigration Site but they are in english language only.

I saw here on the forum before that you can get application forms in Thai for Australia,

so i'm just wondering if i can get those forms for NZ in Thai language as well, cause my

girlfriends english is limited.

I'm in NZ and she is back home. Can i just fill all the forms out by myself and she just needs

to sign them or is it against the immigration law? I hope that one of yours can help me. I appreciate

any advise.

Thanks

I could not find any Thai forms either.

There are a number of Thai documents here http://www.immigration.govt.nz/branch/BangkokBranchHome/Checklists/ in thai to assist in filling out the forms but it appears to me that she has to fill it out in English. Maybe if she goes to the embassy in Bangkok she can get a Thai form.

You can fill in the forms but she has to sign them.

Good Luck

There is agencys who charge around 5000 baht for the assistance.. Its probably worth using them..

Hi Guys

Use the documents for a Thai to Austalia the documents are 99% the same but for New Zealand Embassy you need to make sure the Thai documents are translated, If you need the list in Thai send me an e-mail and I will send you the list,

Mate im Kiwi too , sit down and talk to our immigration people before you spend any money , it is very difficult to bring Thai girl her , esopecially if she has worked in bar or significant age gap (not presuming anything mate , its me that chses the young bar girls after all lol)You cant do fiancee or partner visa until she has resided with you for more than 12 months with a lot of proof that it is a genuine relationship for both (basically they go overbaord to protect you from any scamming and tax payers from overstayer etc )so she will need you to videotape the bedroom lol , What i have been told is simply let them know to start a file , sponsor her on a tourist/visitors or working visa , and apply after several months for relationship to be recognised and partner visa granted or existing visa extended accordingly .No need to pay Pattay immigration "experts" significant fees for easy to complete documents , in fact if you use an agent whom gets a comission or bonus for suceesful granting of visa our immigration chaps put no creditablity on the info and statements made .Cheers and good luck

Good reply and yes the relationship proof is very important with all visa applications mate, incl Aus and UK, it is the most important part.

If you seen how many refusals I see per day from guys who have attempted themselves you would probably not say it was that easy.

To some people it is a walk in the park but some wish for help and will always want help, To help people who have never done it before the best thing to do is give them plenty of knowledge and info and do not just say it is easy because that gets the new applicant over confident.

Sometimes it does pay if you are unsure to get help.

Regards
