Traval from Pattaya to Buriram?

Recommended Posts

Is there any transport going from Pattaya to Buriram or do I have to go to Bangkok and change bus to Buriram?

There's a busline directly from Pattaya to Ubon that stops in Buriram. They don't leave from the normal busstation though, but from their own busstation on Sukhumvit road.

The one I've been with is called Nakhonchai Air, if you go down Central road up to the intersection with Sukhumvit, you can see the station across the road on your right hand side. Their VIP busses are excellent!

I think there's another company more to the left on Sukhumvit road, but I don't know what destinations they have.

There are at least six different bus businesses/stations that I know of in Pattaya. Five of them have VIP buses going all over Thailand. Some destinations you will find at only one of these places and some destinations can be found at two or three of them.

1. Call this the official government bus station which has no VIP buses located on Pattaya Nua close to Sukhumwit on the north side of the road. These buses pretty much all go to different places in Bangkok. Bell Travel Service is located here.

2. Just north of Pattaya Klang on 3rd road on the left-hand side or beach road side. Look for all the buses parked. It's about 200 yards from the intersection of Pattaya Klang and 3rd road. There is a small street side station here.

3. At the end of the short 45 degree short-cut road leading from Pattaya Klang to Sukhumwit. This is the only one I know that has a bus to Sakon Nakhon, but it has other destinations also. It's a small office.

4. There is a bus depot/station in the first gas station on Sukhumwit just north of Pattaya Klang. No more than 200 yards from the Pattaya Klang/Sukhumwit intersection. The station is to the back on the left-hand side as you drive in to the gas station.

5 and 6. There are two actual bus stations just south of Pattaya Klang on Sukhumwit on both the east and west side of Sukhumwit.

Anyone who cannot cope with mathematics is not fully human. At best he is a tolerable sub-human who has learned to wear shoes, bathe, and not make messes in the house.

also two stations in Jontiem although the one VIP one I knew has been built over last year , its worth asking at a couple of beer bars as many girls even have gold or silver membership cards with different bus companies giving up to 30% of tickets and will happlily come and sort out a ticket for you for only a barfine( buy a drink and maybe have food where she suggests)

Thank you for all the help. I have travalled with Nakhonchai Air busses from Bangkok to Buriram before and that is really nice.

How to you think all the sweet hearts from Issan come to Pats Beach? We would all have to wait longer if these poors girls had to land in BKK before heading to Pats Beach.
